"Ah, purple in color, thick pedals, red stem... This must be used for - BLEH. Yepp, that'll go in a salve...

I've spent 3 months foraging in fields around Northern Teracon and have learned three things:

  1. Even the common flowers and herbs in these fields have some useful properties for potions and salves.

  2. Creating these tinctures... these tonics, if you will, is incredibly easy. I taught a simple club-wielding barbarian how to make a sleep poison, and he now sleeps like a baby every night.

  3. The major obstacle when harvesting ingredients? Pixies! I didn't even think I'd find them in this region. Well, I didn't technically "find" them. But I know it was Pixies that kept taking my ingredients when my back was turned!

I've been lucky to find travelers willing to "sample" my concoctions in exchange for a few copper pieces. I was approached by one fellow, suffering from what appeared to be a nasty snake bite - venomous as well. He wouldn't have lasted much longer, but my anti-infection salve fixed him right up! Ah, the life-saving benefits of herbalism... Anyway, here's what I've found so far."
